The biggest difference to the way I approach family portraiture is the final product. My goal is to create beautiful, heirloom quality wall portraits, books, and prints that your family will cherish for generations. There are three basic steps involved in planning your session:
First: Consultation
When you’re ready to move forward with your session, contact me. We’ll set up a time to meet and talk about your ideas for the session and what you’re looking for in terms of the style and feel of the images. We will also discuss the types of products you would like created with the session images. A $200 session fee will book your session for you.
Second: Session
My sessions are very casual, relaxed, and low pressure. They typically last 1-2 hours, but the primary goal here is to capture the visual artistry you are looking for from the session. For that reason, the session length is typically not capped.
Third: Presentation
This is by far the most exciting part of the entire process. Once the session is over and I have processed your images, we will schedule a time to meet up with the family and go through the images. It is at this time we’ll talk about the types of wall portraits, books, and prints you’re interested in. You will also receive a set of low-resolution images to share with friends and family online.
